Welcome to our Church! You might wonder what kind of church we are, what our worship is like, what we believe, and what ministries we have. You might also wonder about the Anglican Church and what it means for our congregation to be part of it. We think you will find that we are a joyful congregation, with great love for Jesus Christ and one another, honoring His Word and the Great Commission.

Though we have the most traditional form of worship in town, we are a very relaxed congregation and we love classical and modern worship music. We celebrate Communion much like the early Church in the Third Century. We recognize that Jesus Christ became man to redeem us on the Cross, and He rose from the dead so that by faith in Him we would have eternal life and ever- lasting joy. Our teaching and preaching is solidly biblical and we invite everyone to know the joy of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This is reflected in our ministries.

All of our work in this church serves the goal of drawing people to the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. You will find new friends here, who will welcome you into their lives and stand with you through the hardships of life in this world. You will find that we are anything but stuffy. Some folks wear their "Sunday best", while others dress casually, and all are glad to meet you. We have a joyful Sunday School and we take teenagers to special events throughout the year. We have a very active adult discipleship program. Each year we have a weekly Bible study that looks thoroughly into God's Word a chapter at a time. We also have an excellent discipleship program specifically for women. Bringing all this together is the pastoral care offered by our visitation team, and myself. All are available any time you are in need. The bottom line is that we want you to know that God loves you and we are willing to prove it.

So how does any of this relate to being part of the Anglican Church? At its best we celebrate a classical heritage and commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are part of the Diocese of San Joaquin, which makes us part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. This means that we are connected to the Church of England and we hold the unchanging doctrines and morality that has been shared by faithful Christians throughout the world since the Early Church. There are over seventy-five million Anglicans throughout the world, most of whom are in developing countries of the global South, and we support their ministry as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Well, there you have it! Just a glimpse of who we are, what we believe, and what we are like as a congregation. I hope you take the time to get to know us. If God puts on your heart the desire to worship with us, please know that you are welcome and we are honored to meet you.

Blessings,
Fr. Wes Clare,
Rector
