Due to the generosity of a friend, the Library has made its first purchase: seven novels in a series
of 20th century happenings like the Great Depression and World War II. They were written by Gilbert Morris and are called "American Century". They are now displayed in the Narthex. Good reading.
"Truth is Stranger than Fiction" everyone knows. The focus for March will be on The Left Behind Series. Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins' novels are action-filled and based on their knowledge of biblical truths. Anyone who has lived has encountered "characters" in real life like the ones they portray. The librarian recommends a close examination of the book Nicholas. It is most thought
provoking.
This recommendation comes with a caveat about our church's position on the rapture. However, please enjoy the books. Also, there are two DVD's of book I, Left Behind.
